MEETING
Natalie
I started creating art around the age of thirteen because I was inspired by the wide variety of creativity and art styles that I was beginning to discover online.
Most of the art I create are ink pieces inspired by music, poetry and gothic religious themes. I think music in itself is an art form and a fantastic method of expression and as such I like to shape my drawings mostly around different lyrics which strike me with inspiration. I also draw random things for fun such as portraits of musicians or fictional characters.

I think the main challenge of being an artist is trying to navigate the issue of comparing one self to other artists. I feel it’s important to take inspiration or art tips from other artists but to avoid comparison as no two artists will have the same skills, or muses. And that’s the beauty of what makes art what it is. It is subjective and unique to the creator which is what I love the most about it.
