MEETING
Karla
My name is Karla. I started crocheting while pregnant with my second child. Pretty soon, with covid lockdowns and nothing opened it was all there was to do.
I love expressing myself and my local area through crochet. I usually gift my finished items to friends and family and people who truly appreciate the time and effort that has gone into to the craft.
This creation was inspired by the gorgeous cottages in Mamore, Donegal.
I grew up around them and always thought they had the most whimsical charm. Due to the way they represent Ireland my most recent project involves running a little crochet along to allow as many crocheters as possible create their very own Irish cottage to have ready just in time for St. Patrick’s Day. I want to fill the world with these cosy little homesteads.
