MEETING
Coralie Pimenta
I am a french artist based in Ireland. Drawing has always been my passion, a passion that was passed on to me by my grandfather and that I, in turn, pass on to my daughter. In high school, I was introduced to graphic communication, art history and various artistic techniques.
What inspires me above all is the human being ; the feminine figure has an important place among my work. From time to time, a few beasts and wild animals creep among the humans.
I am a mixed media artist, I love using all sorts of technics and materials every now and then to convey each time more emotion and character. Ink, graphite, charcoal, watercolor, pastels, colored pencils and acrylic are part of my arsenal.
Since I live in Ireland, I’d like to start drawing and painting my environment, I am learning new skills and technics to be able to aptly illustrate Dublin and its wonderful surroundings. To be continued…
