MEETING

Vermillionvenum

Throughout my artistic endeavours, I have always had a deep curiosity for the intricacies of the human mind. This fascination has assumed a central role in my artistic expression, illuminating a profound appreciation for the human experience and the workings of memory. Employing collage techniques, I interweave old photographs into my paintings, providing contextual depth and reinforcing the power of imagination.

Central to my exploration is the theory of ‘reconstructive memory,’ where I delve into the complex interplay of perception, cognition, and the unreliability of the recollection process.

Marked by introspection, my body of work exudes an inherent sense of uncertainty as it contemplates the nuanced processes of vision, cognition, and memory.
