Mila D’Alosa
Mila D’Alosa is an Irish and Spanish singer-songwriter based in Dublin. Having started songwriting at 13, for Mila it has since been a valuable and constructive outlet for processing her experiences in life and love. Her latest single ‘On The Run’ explores the themes of self-exploration and being in a state of healing while still hurting. The lyrics in this song serve as more of a poem than a story.
They are filled with imagery that reflects the aesthetic and headspace of the artist as she comes to peace with the past and allows herself the grace to move on: “letting go of the past, hold on to the truth”. It describes the freedom that comes with choosing not to be defined by the past, and so, being “On The Run” from it.
