I have always painted the human form. However, I am a huge animal lover and have volunteered in sanctuaries over the years. I began pet portraiture during lockdown, in order to raise much needed funds for a local Animal Sanctuary. Kizzie was the result of a raffle winner, I was delighted with my subject. especially the ‘Collie ear’ (one up, one down!) the water was a bit of a challenge…⁠
